Cultural Excursions for Arts Professionals

KMP is host to various cultural excursions, curated specifically for performing and visual arts professionals to encourage collaboration, open dialogue for co-commissions across borders, and to stimulate opportunities for professional artists and artistic companies. KMP has been hosting international delegations since 2015 to Shanghai, Seoul, Cairo, New York City, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and more.

March 28-30, 2025: Art Basel Hong Kong

The premiere Hong Kong fair features galleries from Asia and beyond. It provides an in-depth overview of Asia-Pacific's astonishing diversity, as well as global artistic perspectives through Modern and contemporary works. Visits to the expo and to Hong Kong’s museums will offer participants a diverse range of possibilities, from Modern and contemporary art to Chinese calligraphy and tea ware. The visit to Hong Kong will include visits to West Kowloon Cultural District and Asia Society Hong Kong.Together with prominent international and local art galleries, these institutions shape the modern cultural landscape of the city

October 17-21, 2025: Shanghai International Performing Arts Fair & Forum - Shanghai, China

As the largest performing arts exchange market in the Asia-Pacific region, the China Shanghai International Arts Festival Performing Arts Fair attracts hundreds of performing arts organisations and more than 1,000 representatives from countries and regions around the world every year. The fair continues to build a professional platform for cultural trade, comprehensively demonstrating the platform's nature of being international, professional, pioneering and active, signaling direction to the global performing arts industry, and helping create a domestic and international dual circulation.

The Fair has built a platform for domestic and foreign artists, performing arts groups, theatres and performance intermediary agents to exchange and display, cooperate and negotiate, promoting more foreign artistic excellence to enter the Chinese market, and enabling a large number of outstanding domestic works to "set sail" for the global stage
