Three Monks, a Chinese play adapted from ancient Chinese legend by the China National Theater for Children (CNTC) enthrall audiences with stunning performances of Chinese theater. The story of the play is that she goes deep into the mountain where there is a small temple where an old monk and three young monks live. One day, the old monk asked his students whether they still remembered why they had come to the temple. Why? Because it reminded them of the time when they had just arrived at the mountain. It is hard work to fetch water when living in the mountains. The young monk helped his master fetch water but fell into the well. Fortunately, the master saved him. And since then they share the burden and carry the water together, chant Buddhist scripture, learn Buddhism together and live a happy life.
